Library e-books will not download to Adobe Digital Editions

In order to open library books on the Nook I need to install Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 or older on my Windows 10 machine. I only have 3 days to download this book before it expires, so urgent assistance is appreciated. Enter a name and location for the backup registry key, and then click Save. I needed to move back to 4.0 to get my Kobo Glo working again for library downloads

Install ADE 4.5 and before loading an EPUB book, borrow any PDF Book from you livrary. As other have writen, EPUBOR can convert the added file and add the file to your computer. Then restart ADE if I have a second file. I have to hit ctrl-alt-delete to close the file. Unfortunately I am unable to clse ADE or add a second file.

I downloaded 3.0 but am still unable to open the acsm files. No user in a public forum has access to Adobe’s internal links, you MUST obtain the program and update links from Adobe supportAND when you finally do have a download link, be sure to copy every file you download to an external drive (or 2 or 3) so you never have to hunt for download links if they are moved again… I exported it to a file name and location, completed the other steps, re-authorized my ADE, and I still received the same “Error Getting license. License Server Communication Problem E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER” even though my account with the library where I borrowed the book has the same e-mail account as that on my ADE authorization account. I am unable to see my book in Digital Editions after downloading from the library website. I have the 1.7.2 Adobe Digital Edition and want to download the 2.0 version? Seems you can just edit the version number in the 4.5 url and you will get the older versions…4.0 or 3.0
